Military Indian College, Dehradun is an Inter-Services Institutions and Category ‘A’ establishment of the Ministry of Defence. The College was established in 1922 with the primary aim of providing quality all round education and preparing the cadets for entry into Defence Services.
Applications from eligible candidates (Boys and Girls) are invited for admission to class VIII into Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun for Jan 2025 Terms released, for which Written Entrance Examination will be conducted at specified examination centres of respective states on 05 Jun 2024. Eligible aspirants who are seeking admission in RIMC, Dehradun for the Term Jan 2025 are advised to go through the notifications, check eligibility and keep ready the documents, required at the time to apply. The candidates will be tested for the following subjects :-

Eligibility for Admission into RIMC
The age of candidates should be 11.5 to 13 years (Date of birth between 02 Jan 2012 to 01 Jul 2013) as on the date of admission ie 01 Jan 2025 and candidates should be studying in Class VII or passed Class VII from any recognized school at the time of admission to the RIMC ie 01 Jan 2025.
Documents required to apply online
Applications in duplicate, along with the following documents which are to be attached with the form should reach the respective State Govt by 31 Mar 2024:-
1. Caste Certificate belongs to SC/ST reserved category
2. Date of Birth Certificate (issued by Municipal Corporation/Gram Panchayat).
3. Permanent Residential/Domicile Certificate issued by the competent authority.
4. Certificate from the Principal of the current School in which the student is studying, with photographs attested stating the date of birth and class in which the student is studying in original.
5. Two latest passport size photographs.
6. A photocopy of the Aadhar Card of the candidate (Both sides) is a mandatory requirement failing which application will be rejected.
Procedure to Obtain Application forms.
The prospectus-cum-Application form and booklet of old question papers can be obtained from The Rashtriya Indian Military College, Garhi Cantt, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, PIN- 248003 by the following modes:-
(a) Online payment. The prospectus-cum-Application form and booklet of old question papers can be obtained by making online payment of Rs 600/- for General candidates and Rs 555/- for SC/ST candidates on RIMC website www.rimc.gov.in On receipt of the payment the prospectus-cum-application from and booklet of old question papers will be dispatch by SPEED POST only.
(b) By Sending a Demand Draft. The prospectus-cum-Application form and booklet of old question papers can also be obtained by written request with a demand draft of Rs 600/- for General candidates and Rs 555/- for SC/ST candidates along with caste certificate in favour of “The Commandant RIMC Fund”, drawee bank branch HDFC Bank, Ballupur Chowk (Branch Code-1399), Uttarakhand.
